Thomas's Time in El Salvador

 9/26/11 Hahaha thats really funny!  Here is El Savador its like saying "kid" you would say bicho for a boy and bicha for a girl. Im not going to lie though it was a little weird for me at first because i kept thinking that they were saying the other word that is not so great. Im glad that you´re doing such a great job up there just keep it up! I can hardly beleive that i have less than two months left here in the mission it seems that time has gone by so stinking fast. Always look for opportunities to take advantage of your time there. I'm excited that we are going to be at BYU at the same time I'll have someone to get on my case when i start slacking off.  How are your classes? Which are your hardest classes? Im going to have to have mom register in like three weeks so ive got to come up with the classes that i want this week or next week.  9/19/11 That's tough, Ethan I'm pretty sure that BYU has to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the entire world. One day they can be super huge and the other they lose by more than 40 points. Hey but how is BYU going i hope that all of your classes aren't that tough.  Since this week is mom and dad's anniversary it would be really great that you be calling home at least every week. That is something that i really regret is not calling home that much from BYU. Even if you get just a little bit of time every day call mom and dad and tell them how things are going. I hardly ever did that and i could realize that that was really hard for everyone. You got to take advantage of the time that you have to be able to call home. Because when you are here in the mission.... well you cant. But yeah make sure that you can keep them in your prayers and they know that you stay in contact with them.  9/12/11 Hey family  So this week was slightly better. But yeah mom i did by the shoes that i was telling you about. So now i am fine with everything. Anyway about the same couple that i was talking to you guys about last week. We had a really good lesson with them last night. We were kind of worried though because Janette the mom, Marcela and Osiris didn't go to church yesterday so we were really worried about them. we passed by at night, and the second we get in the door. Miguel starts going off again on his wife about how it was basically worthless her baptism if she doesn't ever go to church (even though this was the first Sunday since she had gotten to know the church that she hasn't gone). But then i got a really strong impression to read John 5:22 Which says that god doesn´t judge anybody but he gives all of the judgement to his son Jesus Christ. But then in August we finished with only about 130. Except for our zone it was a little different we finished and set a new record in the zone with 21   baptisms.   But now we only have 4 people in the zone with baptismal dates.   So we are getting a lot of pressure right now from President cordon and from the assistants.   So right now ive been going to bed at about 11:30 every night.
