Thomas's Time in El Salvador

 4/27/10 Greetings from the hottest area the mission! It is sooo stinking hot here no matter what you do you are always sweating ill send you guys a picture of how much of a tan i have right now it is ridiculous! And yeah about mothers day ill probably wait until you guys are over at grandma and grandpas house to call and that way it will be cool to talk to everyone. That and the fact that we are only one hour ahead of you guys so that means that ill be at church from 8 oclock in the morning till 11 oclock in the morning so it will be fine ill just call at around six oclock over to grandma and grandpa's house and that way i can talk to everyone and it will be easier to plan for that. But ill try the cell phone first because David will probably be thinking the same thing. Im sorry to hear about Great B but im glad that she had everyone around her and it sounds like she went very peacefully and im sure thats the best.  4/12/10 Hey i got a new area .... Acajutla ! ! Finally i got here i woke up at 5:30 this morning because we had to be at the stake center at 7:00 but we must've been in that stupid bus for about 5 hours trying to get here because we had to pick up and drop off other missionaries as well. Acajutla is right on the beach here Saweet! There are only two areas here in El Salvador that are on the coast and this is one of them it is one of the largest areas in the mission and we get bikes!!!! The only area in the mission that has bikes. But the downside is that supposedly it is the hottest area in the entire mission! :{ But that is exactly what i need because i could drop a few more pounds. And i dont think that i am going to be as fortunate with the pizza hut and the burger kings all over the place from what i hear its going to be slim pickings. But thats ok ... not important.  4/5/10 Hey so sorry to get all of your hopes up but i havent been transfered yet, thats not until next monday. But i will make sure to keep all pf you posted on where i will be going and what not depending on where im going i could be writing my email to you guys from that new area also. So General conference was awesome as you know. Got to see the whole thing in ENGLISH I!!! Score! Our bishop came in ad set up a tv and all of the gringo missionaries in the stake were in one room in the stake center together i was so glad i got to see it in english. Its all fine and dandy in spanish but you dont get to hear the actual voice of the speakers. And even though we didnt get to go and have Cold Stone afterward from the preisthood session we got to go and have Pizza Hut in between the saturday sessions. And i did see the picture of the lllopango stake temple trip. lllopango is pretty close to Santa Tecla but its in the other mission. So i doubt that i will see any of the people in that s...
