I haven't been transferred yet.

Hey so sorry to get all of your hopes up but i havent been
transfered yet, thats not until next monday. But i will make sure
to keep all pf you posted on where i will be going and what not
depending on where im going i could be writing my email to
you guys from that new area also.
So General conference was awesome as you know. Got to see
the whole thing in ENGLISH I!!! Score! Our bishop came in ad
set up a tv and all of the gringo missionaries in the stake were
in one room in the stake center together i was so glad i got to
see it in english. Its all fine and dandy in spanish but you dont
get to hear the actual voice of the speakers. And even though
we didnt get to go and have Cold Stone afterward from the
preisthood session we got to go and have Pizza Hut in between
the saturday sessions. And i did see the picture of the lllopango
stake temple trip. lllopango is pretty close to Santa Tecla but its
in the other mission. So i doubt that i will see any of the people
in that stake. But something cool is that we drove by in the bus
right next to the temple and its almost done on the outside
they are going to put the spire and the angel moroni on i think
some time during this month ill see if i can snap a picture for
you guys its really close to where the mission office is. and only
about ten minutes in a bus away from our house.
This Week like i told you was semana santa which means that
here in the Latin world they dont just celebrate easter on one
day but its a whole week. So the work was a little slow toward
the end of the week but we stopped by a members house on
friday to talk with him and see if we could helop him out in any
way. But we got talking and i asked him if he knew where we
could get to a specific area in Santa Tecla an area that is to the
south and in the other mountains here. So he said yeah come
on ill show you so we hoped in hios car and drove for about 20
minutes I (here thats a long time) and we were still in our area.
we found out that there are two little towns Nuevo Cuzcatlan
and Comasagua, in the mountains that are in our area that the
missionaries havent gone to for a long time. But they view is
absolutely amazing. On one side you can see almost to the
ocean and on the other you can see all of the Volcano San
Salvador but i didnt have my camera buit dont worry im going
to bring it this week when we go back. But so basically our area
here is about one and a half times as big as the area of both
Colton and Molalla and we are on foot I Crazy i know i think we
find a new area that we have never seen before every day.
I still havent got your package yet which is really kind of sad but
that means that for sure that it will get to me tomorrow. So
that will be a pleasant surprise. We are actually going to go and
eat with president Lopez today because our zone baptized 17
people this month which is the higher of most of the zones in
all of the mission. So that will be something cool that we got to
do today.
Im really sorry to hear about Great Bea I hope that Grandma is
doing ok. Im glad that we got to go down and see her this
summer. Which reminds me i need to send great grandma a
letter today ill try to see if i can work one up for her. How is she
doing these days? Make sure that you guys go and say hi for
mel
And you guys dont need to make any arrangements to make
anything special on Mothers day what happens is that in each
of the houses there is a phone and its actually really cheap here
to call the US. And So Ill just call you guys some time on
Mothers Day and the cost of the call will just get tacked onto
the phone bill. But i am really looking forward to talking to you
all also. It seems like just yesterday i was chatting with you all in
the airport. But really no matter how far apart we all are we
can always feel of the same spirit and love from our heavenly
father from the gift of the Holy Ghost. Thats something i
realized recently that truely the gift of the Holy Ghost is truely a
miracle. No matter where we are or what we are doing we can
always have a special one on one relationship with our
heavenly father.
I love you all and love hearing from you guys every week and i
will keep you posted on whats going on for the transfers.
