5/23/11  Hey Family That was soo cool looking at all of the photos of Emily the pictures you took at the track. Wish i couldve been there, oh well that will be next year. But congratulations Emily you did such a great job! This week was a little sad and yet a really good week at the same time. It was really good because we worked our tails off and we are going to have a t lewast two baptisms this weekend. One is of a grandson of this family that we found about three weeks ago that are just golden investigators and their grandson Wilber who is 12 years old is ro excited for his baptism this saturday, the other baptism is that of Mary Escobar who is the reference that i told you guys about this past week she is so ready! We even had a day this past week where we taught ten lessons in one day! Ive never done that before, the most that ive ever done is nine.  5/16/11 Hola Familia, Wow emily you area already going to go to state this week that is going to be so cool! Im so jealous that i cant get to see you run until next year. You still need to get a workout set up for me when i get back i want to get in alot better shape. Today ive had one of the most edifying p days that ive had in a long time we had a baptism of the last of the family that i had baptized here in Paraiso before. The Gutierrez family. they all had gotten baptized exept for the daughter, Katherine. And finally today she got baptized! So early this morning we had her baptism it was a very powerful baptism i could feel the spirit so strongly. Another Elder, Elder Ballard that had been teaching the family before i got there was able to baptize her.   5/9/11 Hey family Ha ha thats really funny what you said about David, Ethan. I can totally believe that David was just faking his accent. it's not that hard to keep your American accent. he will have at least one gringo missionary in his zone. Here it is super easy to keep my accent because im teaching my companion English and i talk to other missionaries in the zone in English. Although there is a hard part about it. its that you lose your vocabulary and grammar. Like you guys could see yesterday and in all of my emails my grammar stinks. It was really great to get to see and talk to you guys yesterday. Mom I hope that you had an amazing mothers day and that you were able to take a little bit of a rest from everything.  5/2/11 Hey family  Hope everything is ok over there. My new companion is sucha an amazing missionary. Elder Diaz is from Panama city Panama, and loves to talk with everybody. Sometimes i still hesitate in talking to people but he really understands that as missionaries we literaly are representatives of Jesus Christ and we have been sent to talk to everybody about the gospel. He has been such a great help for me and has helped me grow so much this week and we have been able to see so much success. Right now starting out the month of May in our zone we have 10 investgators with a batismal date that have allready gone to church and 1 guy allready baptized. And three of those investigators are in our area. This past thursday we were out contacting and we found an elderly couple. Manuel and Irma. They had been going to an evangelical church for three off our years but it never filled them up the members always looked down on them because they live in very humble circumstances. So...
