I got a new area... Acajutla!

Hey i got a new area .... Acajutla ! ! Finally i got here i woke up at

5:30 this morning because we had to be at the stake center at

7:00 but we must've been in that stupid bus for about 5 hours

trying to get here because we had to pick up and drop off other

missionaries as well. Acajutla is right on the beach here Saweet!

There are only two areas here in El Salvador that are on the

coast and this is one of them it is one of the largest areas in the

mission and we get bikes!!!! The only area in the mission that

has bikes. But the downside is that supposedly it is the hottest

area in the entire mission! :{ But that is exactly what i need

because i could drop a few more pounds. And i dont think that i

am going to be as fortunate with the pizza hut and the burger

kings all over the place from what i hear its going to be slim

pickings. But thats ok ... not important. But my new companion

is Elder Lopez and he is from Peru. Haven't got a chance to

know him very well ive only just met the guy and now we are

here in Sonsonate {the nearest big city) writing you guys, but he

seems like a really nice guy and hope to be able to work very

hard with him and be very successful here.

Another peice of Good news ... I got the package finally it is in

the office right now but the problem is that i win't be able to

get it untill sometime next week so that will be something to

look forward to. Last week Elder Ayala and I found a family out

contacting and we only taught them one lesson but they are

extremely positive the mom wasn't able to go to church but the

son and the daughter came to mutual and the english classes at

the church and they absolutely loved it. Their daughter though

reminds me exactly like you Audrey, it was really cool it was like

i was talking to you in spanish. But they are in ggod hands with

elder Ayala and im pretty sure that they are going to ber

baptized by the end of this month.

We also went back to Comasagua this past week and took some

great pictures that im going to attatch so you can see more of

what its like here.

Hey you talked to Elder McBride!!!!??? thats awesome! how

is he doing? i hope that everything is going well for him back

there. He seemed a whole lot better when he left our house to

go see his parents. Make sure if you talk to him again that you

tell him hi for me.

We also went and visited with some members and investigators

last night as well and we made chocolate chip cookies while

watching the movie: Joseph Smith Prophet of the Restoration

with the Gochez family. I dont know how he did it but

somehow Elder Ayala got a hold of a copy of the movie, but it

was really cool and we had a great time.

Anyway i better get going and heading off toward my new area!

I get you guys some really cool pictures of the beach and stuff

like that. But really always remember that if we are ever going

through difficulties or feel that we are alone we are never really

alone and we are always connected as a family and no matter

what we are doing during the day if we would like to take a

minute or just a few seconds we can be connected through the

Holy Ghost when we need to feel the spirit during the day it is

that same spirit and that love that all of the people in the world

can feel it is that same love that our heavenly father has for all

of his children, and the same love that i have for you guys as

well. Love you all and look foreward to hearing back from you

guys next week. Try not to have too much fun without me!

Lizard in our apartment
