Hey family
So My new area and zone are really cool right now. In the past The zone has had some really
disobedient missionaries. But this past transfer took out the majority of them. So now we are starting out
brand new. My new companion is Elder Alvarado who is from Miami he is a convert to the church about two years ago he got baptized as the only member of his family and he is super powerful.
My Area is Juayua (pronounced why-yow-ugh) its super beautiful, and it looks a lot like Oregon its up
in the mountains and its pretty cool the climate here. But our area in this town is super small... so small
that the stake relief society president (Sister Rodriguez) has a daughter that lives in Oregon City and is
in the Beavercreek ward!!!!!!!! How small is this world I said!!!! So now rm going to give you guys her
contact information. Her name is Irene Leon and she lives in front of the Oregon City High School. Her
phone number is (503) 998-2045. But her husband is not a member of the church, and is from Peru.
HAHAHAHAHA You guys are finally going to have to be missionaries HAHAHAHA (victorious
laugh). So yeah you guys need to talk to her and get her husband baptized!!!!
No but seriously i really love this area its so beautiful ill see if i can send some pictures next week. This
past Saturday we already had our first baptisms they were the two investigators the mom and the
daughter of a family that the missionaries before had contacted, named Janette and Osiris. So those were
two free baptisms for us. :). But they have been being attacked by lots of the members from their old
church and from various members of their family. But whats really cool in all of this is that the dad of
this family has come to realize with all of this opposition this has to be the true Church. He even told us
straight up that he knows that this is the true church and that the book of Mormon is true and that Joseph
Smith was a prophet. And also the other daughter wants to get baptized. So all of this opposition from
Satan hasn't damaged the testimonies of this family but has helped to strengthen it. The only problem is
that the other son of this family has received a ton of doubts about the church because most of the
opposition has come from his pastor. So because of that the dad doesn't want to get baptized just yet
because he wants to get baptized with his whole family. This is a truly blessed area and we are going to
see a ton of success here.

Ok I lied ive got some pictures for you guys right now of some of the people that i was teaching in Santa Ana and a picture that i took with me and Ekder Alvarado when we went to the temple Open house.
