Emergency Transfers Goodbye Pres. and Sis. Lopez

Hola Familia
Sounds like you all had a pretty full week. We did too and
especially today. If you look on a map of El Salvador you'll see
what we did. One of the Elders in our zone had emergency
changes which i didn't even know about until 7 o'clock this
morning. I'm just sitting there all chill eating my oatmeal when
all of a sudden i get this phone call from another zone leader
asking me where he wants to meet up to do the missionary
exchange Today at 10 o'clock. So i immediately call up Elder
Perez ( the elder that had the transfer) so he can get packing.
Then i spent about an hour trying to find someone that could
take Elder Diaz and I to Candelaria take Elder Perez and his
luggage from Candelaria (40 min away in bus) to another called
Auachapan another hour away in bus in the other direction and
then take the new missionary Elder Lainez back to Candelaria
with his luggage. I called one member of the church that has a
taxi and wanted to charge us 30 dollars. When in the first place
i dont think we couldve pulled together 30 in between all of the
missionaries in the zone. But we finally called around for 2
hours and the wife of the 2nd counselor in the stake presidency
told us that she could do it if we just payed for gas. So thats
how i spent my p day today doing emergency transfers from
the second i woke up until about 20 minutes ago.
The mission is so stressfel at times and almost every single day
is like that. Doing something crazy is some far off place with
little or no notice. But it is soo worth it. Because this past week
we had the baptism of Rafael and then this week we are going
to have another baptism. There is one thing that i have come to
understand and greatly appreciate these past few months, are
the blessings that come from the law of consecration. The more
and more that we sacrifice the more and more the blessings
that we recieve. The Lord loves us and is always mindful of
what is going on in our lives and as long as we are faithful to his
commandments, and the more and more that we sacrifice for
him and for others the more that we are blessed. That is why i
am here on the mission to give all that i have serve with all that
i can to help other people recieve the bleesings that come
when we are faithful to the Lords commandments. And that is
one thing that ive really admired about Pres. Lopez and his
wife. They give everything for us the missionaries. Tomorrow
the new mission president comes And im going to miss alot of
what they've done for me.
I love you guys so much and I hope you have a great fourth of
July. I think that next monday we are going to have a BBQ!!!!
