General conference was pretty much amazing!

Hey family
General conference was pretty much amazing wasnt it? I really
could also feel as Elder Holland was describing that each of the
talks were in one way or another personalzed for each and every
one ofus. But no way Lexi ias engaged now too! thats soo
crazy! Sounds like her fiance was paying really close attention
to President Monson' s talk in the preisthood session. He gave
this huge machete to all of the sigle adult men that dont want to
get married because they want to still have a little bit of fun first.
hahah just joking. But i really ejoyed the conference it seems
like the more and more i get to appreciate the talks that are being
given the shorter and shorter the conference gets. it was really
cool because during the preisthhod session, Elder Ferrin and i
we pulled a couch from the ward buildeing and put it in another
room in the chapel and watched the conference in English, just
the two of us. it was really fun. We bought a whole bunch of
snacks and everything so it was really fun.
Anyway sounds like Emily had a really eventful week this week
congratrs on you r track results Emily. I want to race you when i
get back to see if i can still beet you, probably not. ;) and good
luck to audrey this week! You are gioing to do great! Nobady
can even touch you guys you are so fast. You guys need to help
me get back in shape when i get back. Im getting soo sknny all
of my muscle is going away. Thats right skinny! This past week
i had a stomach infection and i had really bad diarheea for three
days. So im pretty sure ive lost like 6 or 7 pounds this week. All
of the collars on my shirts are a little big and i dropped another
belt whole this week. I think im back down to weighing 145
again. wow. but all the better that way i can get in better shape
faster : ). next week we should be havng a baptism of a family
that we found about three weeks ago. Elder Ferrin found him so
drunk with his old companion, his name is oscar by the way,
they brought him back to his house and we've been teaching
him ever since and has never missed a sunday at church since. ill
tell you more about the story next week because i dont have a
whole lot of time.
But i wanted to tell you guys what we did for our zone activity
this morning. We went and visited Old people in a nursing
home. Here in El Salvador the nursing homes are places where
families leave their unwanted old relatives to fend for themselves
so they dont bother the family. That is really harsh because the
older people in latin american culture are highly respected and
loved and should live with the family. So if they leave their old
relatives in a nursing home its because they are really snobby
people that hate their family. So we went and visited them for a
couple of hours and took some pictures with them it was really
cool. ill attach one of those pics right now.
But everything is going excellent And i can feel the support
from you guys every week. i feel that during the time that ive
been here on the mission has been the time where our family has
grown the closest together. Every time i hear about all of the
successes that you guys are having i just feel so proud of you
guys. And i know that these blessings have come through our
faithfulness in the gospel. So that means you guys must be
acting like angels back there haha jk. But seriously you guys
have been angels for me here in the mission, and i can feel your
love and support every day. Thank you for all that you do. I love
and miss you all. And hope that you all have a great week.

PS i also bought a gallon of hawaiian puch this week that i
found in the grocery store. I just had to buy it! ;)
Oh hey and another thing real quick. The mission office is going
to be moving here to Santa Ana when the new mission president
comes in June. So if you or anybody else are going to be sending
any packages send them now. Because after may 1st or 2nd all
of the packages that are send to the address ··Boulevard el
hippodromo·· will get lost. So if you want, to send a package
after may wait until i get the new address of the mission office
and i will send it to you.
