Congratulations Ethan on getting valedictorian! New Mission Name!

Hey congratulations Ethan on getting valedictorian!! I knew that
you could do it. Just one step closer to taking over the entire
world!! ha ha ha! No but im really proud of you bro you are
going to have to teach me when i get back. No but its going to
be sweet at BYU. Budge hall is by far ... The best. Its the closest
one to the cannon center and its close to the helaman hall feilds,
the stadium. everything. Its just too bad that you didnt get the
first floor ;). What do you think that you are going to end up
studying? Ive been thinking alot more about studying in
eantripreneurship and stuff like that ive gotten a bunch of
business ideas while ive been here on the mission. One class that
i would highly reccommend taking is the career exploration
class and spend as much time as you possibly can in the library.
I got some of my best work done outside of the dorms and
especially now that you are in a really cool hall your gonna meet
alot of really noce guys but dont get too caught up in the social
scene. stay focused on studying that should be your first priority
always! But i know that you are gonna do great that is
inevitable. we'll have to meet up some times and study together.
To answer about the mission mom, in June the new mission
president will be coming, President Polosky Cordon ( from
Guatemala), and before he comes the mission will be reduced in
size, the mission home will be moved here to Santa Ana, and the
name of the Mission will be changed. This mission will be
called the El Salvador Santa Ana / Belize Mission. The East
mission will be called the El Salvador San Salvador Mission. So
there will just be one mission office here in Santa Ana. Its going
to help alot with transport costs and travel time. No but its going
to be coming up here real quick. Its going to be interresting and
we should learn alot from the new mission president
That was really cool to hear that Sarah Stuebe is getting married
also! Thats so awesome for her. She deserves nothing less. Its
really sad when you see people grow up in the church and then
settle for anyting less than a temple marraige, it tends to happen
alot here in El Salvador because there arent very many single
adult men that are returned missionaries. If you could i would
like to get a copy of those wedding announsements. But thats
just if you can, if not, no problem.
But it sounds like Emily and Audrey are still tearing it up on the
track scene. congratulations on your metals Emily you are going
to do soo great this year i just am a little bummed that i dont get
to watch. But next year i will be able to! I just think that it is so
awesome that you have both found so much fun in track and that
you've both been soo successful. One of the greatest things that
ive learned here in the mission is to really lose focus of what i
want what i need, and focus on the wants and needs of others.
So when i hear that you guys are all having such a great time
and receiving so many blessings its like i dont even need
anything just seeing you guys have a good time is enough.
Seeing the gospel of Jesus Christ bless the lives of others is one
of the most fulfilling things in the world. It not only builds the
testimonies of the people whose lives change, but also the
testimonies of all those around them. I hope that that is
something that i can always have in mind throughout my life the
lives of others higher up on my priority list than my own. We
had several of the members in our ward talk about that yesterday
in the testimony meeting the bishop had called some of the
priests to be couselors in the young mens presidency, and it has
truely changed the way that they view the other youth in the
ward and has helped them focus on the younger young men in
the ward and helping them to understand the importance of
excersizing their preisthood. We need to always be looking for
ways that we can serve others and put their needs and wants
above ours. And when we go out of our way to do that, that is
when the lord blesses us. i know that Jesus Christ lives and that
he is the utimate example of what im talking about ifwe just
follow his teachings and his example there is no way that we can
go wrong. I love you guys soo much and hope that you all have
a great week.
