We watched the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.

Hey Everybody!
Sounds like everything is going great back there. Did you guys
watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional last night?
That was such an amazing experience we had a whole family
that we were teaching, well it was a small family just a young
couple and their two year old daughter, but still we had a
whole family that were investigators there watching it with us
in the chapel. I could feel the spirit so strongly. Here I've been
really worried that i wouldn't be able to feel so much of the
Christmas spirit here because its like the fourth of July for
Christmas here. Everybody goes out and gets drunk and buys a
lot of firecrackers and fireworks, i mean its already starting. But
when a member in our ward gave me a copy of mister crugers
Christmas, and when we watched the devotional i could feel
the spirit so strongly. And then last Saturday we had the
baptism of Ada Villegas. She was that golden investigator i told
you guys about. She got married to Spencer (who was a less
active who is now attending regularly) and then afterwards we
had the baptism I baptized Ada and Eumir {Spencer's little
brother who is leaving on his mission to go to Argentina the
30th of this month) baptized Ada's 8 year old son.
But that's not all. this part is a little bit of a story.
Remember Louis our last baptism? Well the other 2
missionaries here in Lourdes found his ex wife that supposedly
has been living in their area. Anyway they have reactivated
here (She split up with Louis because he wasn't a member and
she wanted to return to church but he wouldn't let her). But
two weeks ago Louis received the priesthood and so on
Saturday he got to baptize his step-son and Elder Ariola got to
baptize his other step-son. That was such a cool experience not
only two baptize a family but also to watch one of our converts
be able to baptize his own son. The service was a little long
because it took a while to get everybody changed But it was an
experience that i probably wont ever forget. Take care family I
love you all so much keep up the good work and always look for
opportunities to share the gospel with those around you, never
take what we have for granted. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the
most important gift that we can give to anyone for this
Christmas. By the way how is the Ferris Family doing? (hint hint
wink wink) Our friends and Neighbors need this gospel so
much, maybe they don't know it. But we sure do. Always
remember that. I love you all. Have a great weekl
