Thanks for the Birthday Wishes!

Hey!

Thanks for the happy birthday you guys i can hardly beleive that i
am going to be 20! AHHHHH! Im so old, two decades, I thought i
was going to be a teenager forever! No but i do feel like the time
is passing by really quickly and really slowly at the same time.
Sounds like you guys had a great time at the ward pioneer day
picnic and no Emily we didnt do anything special here for pioneer
day. But yeah make sure that when you go to the El Salvadoran
restaurant you get lots of pupusas. They have lots of different
kinds but my favorite is "frijol con queso" or beans and cheese but
if you say it that way they'll think that you are super cool. Oh and
then make sure you try horchatta its a drink from a kind of plant
but it tastes like a kind of cinnemon drink. Other than that the food
here isnt really that special. But its all good though. But make
sure you guys have a good time on my birthday thats the main
thing. Here i dont think we are going to do anything that special.
We'll probably go to the mall and ill by something for once;) and
then go out to eat at burger king or something.
In our area this week we've been working really hard rying to get
thinkgs rolling for next month. we are going to have for sure four
baptisms. we were going to have five but we had a problem with
one of our investigators. William the guy i told you guys about that
was gay well he went to a party on friday night and drank ... again.
Supposedly he had gotten over his problem and hasnt drank for a
month. But we talked to the mom of another investigator who
knows his and apparantly he, s just been throwing us under the
rug and had no intention of stopping to drink. Its really sad
because he knows that what we are teaching us is true but he's
been lying to us and has no intentions of changing. so we are
going to have to drop him this week. It was really tough when we
found out about it because we went over and talked to him about it afterwards just to talk with I could tell that it was true. 

So that was pretty tough but then yesterday we left with some sisters in the ward to get to know a new part of our area and we found a family that has been active for many years but stopped going to
church about three years ago but anyway we stopped by and
visited them and had a really spiritual lesson and she said that
she is going to go to church next sunday and her daughter, Iris,
who hasnt been baptized she says that she wants to get baptized
too so that will be another baptism that we are looking at for this
next month on top of the four that we are going to have for sure.
So when i say that the time is passing by slowly and quickly at the
same time its because i miss you guys but at the same time its
truly amazing to lose yourself in the service of our heavenly
father. Just like it says in Moses 1 :39, "For behold this is my work
and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of
man." We really are on the lords errand. Hey ... question. How are
you guys doing with that challenge i gave you guys was it last
week or the week before? I think it was last week. if you havnt
started it yet, get on it. Because our time really is short and
sometimes it doesnt go at all the way we had planned but that
doesnt matter, all thats left to do is do the best with the time that
has been given to us.

looking forward to getting my birthday package too!!! Have a great
week. Oh and before i forget, congratulations mom on you getting
that promotion i love hearing about how much success that you
are having in your job and congrats to you too dad. Last week
when mom told me that you were going to build a bunch of
houses over there in seaside thats great i hope that goes great.
Sometimes we have to have a little bit of patience, but as long as
we just keep going the blessings are going to come. Keep up the
good work and thank you for all of your great examples!
