Lots of Rain.

Good Morning everybody!

How's everything going back up there? I'm glad to here that the Youth Conference
went over so well and that you guys had a good time. Not much crazy stuff is
happening here just lots and lots of rain. We've kept getting tropical storm after
tropical storm over and over again its not anything to worry about it just stinks
because there is just lots and lots of rain. We had to pass by a family that we were
teaching Familia Hernandez. So Elder Wardlow and i we just thought that if the
people could see the effort that we are putting in to help these people come unto
Christ that maybe they would really understand the importance of the Gospel. So
this last storm hit on Saturday at about 4 in the afternoon. But we were in Cara
Sucia when the storm hit so we had to take a bus back to Acajutla that took
forever. So by the time that we ended up back in Acajutla at about 6:30. So we set
off and ended up walking half way through about six inches of water because there
was water on the road and we got to there house and they were like "We are going
to church tomorrow!" the whole family! So we were super excited. But it turns out
that they couldn't make it to church yesterday anyway. But after we went and
passed by their house we visited another less active family and we had one of the
most powerful lessons that I've ever had in my mission so far. I really gained a
testimony this week that really if we put the effort into this life and in whatever we
do really heavenly father will see it and will bless us with the things that we need.
Now still we are in this crazy weather, but it's really comforting to know that
really there is somebody watching over you and knows exactly what I am going
through it helps me to really get out the door everyday. Sometimes you'll have
tough days in the mission and you don't feel like you have enough faith or
spirituality to help these people come unto Christ, but the best way that we can
show our faith to heavenly father here on the earth is just go out the door every
morning and just go to work. I know that if we just keep going if we just persevere
until the end we will be blessed. Love you guys and hope you guys have a great
Fourth of July. Sorry I didn't have a whole lot of time to wish you a happy fathers
day but I'm sending a letter out today so it should get to you this week. .. hopefully.
