This week was really tough

Hey looking good Emily! I bet that feels really good to
finally get those braces off. I know that it probably feels
super different but you'll get used to it.
And you, re already getting ready to send a package for
my birthday?! Wow time really does fly here! Um i don't
really know if there is anything else that you guys really
need to send i think that we, re all good here just need
those journal pages but other than that i don't really need
anything super special here.
This week was really tough. It started out super super
positive with my new companion Elder Wardlow who is
really excited to work in Acajutla and is always looking for
opportunities to share the gospel with those around him
and brings a truly powerful spirit with him wherever he
goes. But then later on in the day last Monday i got a
super bad fever i think my temperature was about 102ish
because we got soaked on Sunday but it was horrible and
then i couldn't get to sleep because my eyes kept hurting
really bad. Soi ended up being out of action for the whole
week until Friday, ugh it was horrible. We tried to leave the
house 3 times to go work during the week but every time
we came back it just got worse and worse. But we but our
trust in the lord i got a blessing and we found some really
positive new investigators this week. Oscar Racinos is a
25 year old guy that has been reading the book of Mormon
by himself for a really long time and has been waiting for
us to pass by and talk to him but we finally passed by and
talked to him and he has a lot of questions for us ... and
how bout that. .. we have a lot of answers. But really it was
really cool because i was reading in D&C 121 and about
how if we endure it well god will exalt us on high. And it
was cool that we could see those blessings at the end of
the week. I love the quote that grandma Jefferies sent me
"Stand still and see the glory of God."
Loved hearing about of you guys and glad to hear that
everything is going good back there.
