I still haven't seen the beach.

Hey everybody I'm glad to hear that you all had a great time at
the beach. Still haven't seen the beach here anmd who knows
when that will be. Baptism number two! Marcia was baptised
on saturday afternoon it was truely a faith trying experience.
Marcia was the first of three women, the sister missionaries in
Palmeras had another two people get baptized as well, to be
baptised and Elder Ayala baptized her. She was super nervous
because when she was really young i guess she almost drowned
in a swimming pool and so she's been really pa niched ever
since then.and so she had a hard time in the font she had to get
rebaptized two times. I just kept praying for her the whole time
because i could see that she was super nervous. But afterwards
when wetalked to her about it the second she got out of the
font she just felt a really strong peaceful feeling that just totally
took away any of her doubts really she truely has an amazing
testimony. Then the second woman was cristina who we had
the really freaky experience with, she really is a powerhouse
she has gone through so moany difficulties in her life and has
fought through everything and has now made the right choice
that will help her out through the resty of her entire life. And
then the third lady whose name is hermana Milagro (miracle)
she had a really tough time with her baptism too because she
was nervous and so was the member who baptized her. She
had to get baptized i dont know how many times something
like 6 or 7 times. But she hasd the most amazing attitude
though the whole thing after the first two times she started
• asking if she did it right and she wouldnt get out of the font
. ' .
until they did it right. And for some reason or anotherthe font
gkept going down even though we had the plug in and
everything. Satan was working really hard to try and disrupt the
baptism but all three of them stuck through it and really had a
great experience overall. Sorry i dont have any pictures for you
guys i forgot my camera in the house this morning ... sorry. But
ill get you guys pictures of the baptism and others next
monday.
And then last night we had a really pwerful lesson with Gloria
(remeber her we are still teaching her) and her Sister, Ana. Whi
is the mother of Alexis the returned missionary. And they
almost committed to a baptismal date soo close but we are
going back agian tonight and hopefully they will be baptized by
the end of this transfer. I found out last week that i will be
leaving Santa Tecla in the next transfer because Elder Ayala is
going to be training a missionary that has some speach
difficulties, so president Lopez told Elder Ayala that he will be
getting a new companion here so only two more weeks here in
Santa Tecla but it would be super cool if Gloria and Ana could
get baptized before i leave.
The soccer tourney went really well we won everygame except
for the last one. But we got to play again today with the whole
zone and a bunch of members from Las Palmeras (The other
ward that meets in our building) and our ward so we got to play
for about 3 hours so i am really tired but we did really good i
scored two goals one was when i was the goalie;)
Oh and your package should be in the office by now i dont
know for sure. But i should get it tomorrow when Elder Alguiilar
and Elder Edens go to the office. But im really looking forward
to it. But also im looking forward to easter this weekend too.
Here in Latin America all of this week is Semana Santa (Holy
Week) so everybody has lots of vacation time and hopefully we
will have a lot of success this week. But i think that it really is a
blessing for me to bear here during easter this week because
the message of Christ's atonement and sacrifice is truely what
the gospel of Jesus Christ is about and how we can not only
take advantage of the atonement through repentance but also
by leaning about ways that we can learn from Christ's sacrifice
for us and sacrifice ourselves through time, service, love, and
other acts of kindness so that we can help others come to
know Christ because they have come to know us.
